We stayed for 2 nights in a 1 bedroom unit on the 24/25 Nov. The owner was very welcoming and helpful and the accommodation was beautifully clean. A good sized unit with a separate bedroom and also a spa bath. We definitely recommend a stay at this Lodge. Great grounds and walking distance to town. Highly recommended.
We’ve stayed in many places in NZ (and around the world) and this has to be one of the most sparkling clean places we’ve been in. Not sure how but it feels super clean. The small things matter, like a great coffee plunger with nice coffee, real milk, black out curtains, comfy bed, good pillows, more than one bar of soap! You exceeded our expectations, thank you.
High level of comfort. Spacious grounds with two sitting out areas. Walking distance to shops. Car wash available. Spotlessly clean with very well appointed kitchen & bathroom with large spa bath. Good quality furnishings & spacious living area. I can not fault this complex.
What a great stay - having often driven past the Oak Estate Motor Lodge I'd wondered what it'd be like to stay there. Well, the answer is great, and perhaps we should've done it sooner! A super friendly welcome, an exceptionally clean unit, a good supply of toiletries (and soap) plus fantastic shower pressure. Another good thing about Unit 12 was the lack of traffic noise. Close to a dairy, petrol station and just over a kilometre from the White Swan Hotel and centre of the village, this is the place to be!
We stayed one night and were very pleasantly surprised. The room was roomy and very comfortable it had everything we needed. The host was lovely she made us feel at home. The best was the shower it was amazing, hot and great flow. Would highly recommend and would go again!
Our Family stayed in several units here for a weekend in February. It was a fabulous weekend. The super thoughtful and helpful hosts, and fabulous accommodation just made it all so special. Definitely a come and stay again place.
Absolutely recommend Oak Estate Motor Lodge as the Motel is well located/easy to find and the rooms and facilities are of a very high standard. Rooms are spacious, lots of on site parking and spotless presentation. A group of us stayed for a couple of days on a crafting retreat and Oak Estate Motor Lodge had everything we needed and more. Yvette and Murray are fabulous hosts and have re-booked to stay again.
