If you have a Medical Emergency please dial 111 first, then let us know. In the case of fire, vacate your room immediately, dial 111, and notify surrounding rooms and reception.
Check-in is available between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. If you think you’ll be arriving after 8:00 p.m., please get in touch beforehand so we can supply a code and instructions to access your room.
All guests are requested to vacate their room by 10am on the day of departure. For a late checkout, please speak with Murray or Yvette before your departure day, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
On departure, please ensure that lights, heaters, air con, etc are turned off.
We prefer that you drop your key at reception when you are leaving so that we can say goodbye, but if you're shy then just place it in the key return box or leave it on the bench in your unit.
We accept all major payment methods including Mastercard, Visa, Eftpos and cash.
Parking, Visitors & EV Charging
Guest parking is free and located directly outside your unit. Overflow parking is available near the playground.
If you have visitors then please see the Visitors section just below.
Note: Entrance height limit is 3.0 metres. Taller vehicles must park on the street.
You are welcome to have visitors during your stay but please ensure they park on the street or in the overflow carparks near the playground.
All visitors must leave by 9:45 PM and remain respectful of other guests and staff while on motel grounds.
We offer a 7kW Type 2 EV charger for overnight or daytime top-ups. Please download the Nova Charge Hub app before your stay to make things easier for you.
⚠️ EV Charging Policy: Charging via unit power points or cords through windows is strictly prohibited. It’s unsafe and considered unauthorised power use. Any guests found doing so will have any discounts revoked and will be blacklisted from future stays.
Guest Comfort & Facilities
We offer a continental breakfast for $15 per person. Order forms are available at reception. Breakfast will be delivered to your unit the night before so that you can enjoy it at your leisure in the morning.
Each unit includes heating for your comfort. Most units feature electric wall heaters, while our Two-Bedroom Units, Executive Studio, and One-Bedroom Twin Units include air conditioning.
To get the best performance from your heat pump: Set the temperature to around 21°C, ensure all windows and doors are closed and allow time for the room to warm up. If you’d like it a little warmer, increase the temperature by 1–2 degrees once the heat pump stops blowing.
Please note: Setting the temperature to 28°C or higher won’t heat the room faster - it just makes the heat pump work harder and continuously blow cool air as it tries to reach an unrealistic temperature. You won’t feel the true warmth of the room until the heat pump stops blowing air.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and is free for guest use. Connect and enjoy streaming, browsing, or working online with ease.
The password is inside the front cover of your In-Room Compendium.
All units feature 43" Smart TVs with a wide selection of preloaded channels.
The one-bedroom and two-bedroom units also include a 32" TV with Chromecast in the main bedroom.
Don’t forget to bring your streaming passwords (Netflix, Prime, Sky, etc.) to stay connected with your favourite shows.
Laundry facilities are available onsite: Washing with complimentary washing powder is $5/load; Drying is $5/load; Clothesline is free.
Please check with reception for access details.
All units are serviced daily: rubbish and recycling removed, teas, coffee, and toiletries replenished. If you’d like fresh towels, leave them on the bathroom floor.
Help us conserve water by reusing towels whenever possible.
We have two Studios that have been designed to accommodate wheelchair access – wet area bathrooms, below bench cupboards, beds that can accommodate a hoist, etc.
All other Studios, the One Bedroom + Single and the Two Bedroom units have standard household showers.
We have one Shower Stool if needed - please book in advance as we have a limited supply.
We also provide a portacot and highchair upon request - please book in advance as we have a limited supply.
All units include: cooktop, microwave, under-bench fridge with freezer box, crockery, cutlery, kettle, toaster, and essential kitchenware.
The Executive Studio has a full kitchen with an oven and full-size fridge/freezer. The Two-Bedroom Units also feature a full-size fridge/freezer.
We’re proud to be recycling around 80% of our rubbish - and you can help us keep it that way!
Please separate glass, plastic, cardboard, and cans and place them beside your rubbish bin.
Leave our reusable milk bottles in the fridge or on the kitchen bench for collection.
Smoking is not permitted inside rooms or in the guest laundry, in accordance with New Zealand law.
If you choose to smoke outside your room, please be mindful of wind direction and ensure that smoke does not drift through windows, doors or disturb other guests. Ashtrays are provided for your convenience.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of cafés and restaurants offering seasonal dishes and local wines, alongside unique boutiques and quirky shops selling everything from handcrafted toys and handbags to jewellery, antiques, and art.

Sustainability
ASURE Accommodation Group works hard to support our beautiful country by undertaking practical sustainable actions. Many of these you will not see, but some you may notice – all make a difference to the environment we live in.
Here are some of the practices our members have in place:

- Work with suppliers that can provide our group with environmentally sustainable products.
- Donate supplementary products and excess bedding and furniture.
- LED light bulbs are installed on almost all of our premises.
- Temperature controlled heating and cooling.
- Reduce the amount of waste going to landfill by separating it for recycling.
- Use mostly biodegradable and non-toxic cleaning products.
- Recycle and/or repurpose product containers.
- Soap & hair wash dispensers in all bathrooms to minimise waste.
- Train our committed staff to consistently carry out our environmental practices.
- All ASURE members are actively involved in our local community and provide sponsorship to many community groups.
We trust you are enjoying our country and hope you will help us reduce our impact on it by considering the following things:
- When not needed or when leaving a room, turn off lights or equipment such as heat pumps.
- Turn off taps tightly when not directly using water.
- Didymo and other aquatic pests could squeeze the life out of our country’s most precious rivers and lakes. You can help protect your favourite waterways by always Check, Clean, Dry any gear that comes into contact with the water, between every waterway, every time.
